Hp-compaq notebook,no sound in ubuntu 9.04

Bug description:
I just upgrade to ubuntu9.04, and im still facing the no sound problem when i
was using ubuntu 8.10
the only sound i can hear is the non-stop drum sound from my headphone.
i had already upgrade the alsa to 1.0.19
but it doesn't work 2.
