Title:
realtek ALC275 : high pass filter always active in headphones

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
On the Sony VaioZ (VPCZ2190S), the sound chipset is Realtek ALC275.

When a headphone is plugged, the output "connector" in pulse audio
becomes "headphone". In this state, the volume is extremely low and a
high pass filter is in effect, making the sound quality poor.

It seems that when a heaphone is plugged, the high pass filter should
be deactivated, and the speaker volume left at its current level.

I am running Ubuntu 11.10. Alsa is 1.0.24.2.

  Sincerely,
  Sebastien
