Title:
  [VPCEB44EN, Realtek ID 269, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After I upgraded to10.10 the sound was working. But then suddenly one
  day it stopped working. Don't know why.

  I tried to run sudo m-a a-i alsa but the compilation failed with the 
following error:
