Title:
No sound by HDA/HDMI (TV-speakers) with Acer Aspire Revo R3700
[Realtek ALC662 rev1] ALSA test tone not correctly played back
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I can hear a test signal when I put "speaker-test -D plughw:1,7 -r 44100" in
the terminal, but that is really all.
Unfortunatly no other sound of music or movies.
aplay -l lists two sound devices:
Card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], Device 0: ALC662 rev1 Analog [ALC662 rev1 Analog]
Card 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], Device 7: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
In the alsa mixer settings I have everything unmutet for both cards.
For the Nvidia card there are only the S/PDIF channels in the alsa mixer.
