Title:
  pulseaudio does not recognize my built in analog stereo and only finds
  hdmi audio stub

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  pulseaudio issue regarding Ubuntu precise (development branch)

  i have to remove the .pulse folder and restart pulseaudio completely
  or it won't show my normal sound card. i have to repeat this procedure
  to get sound working. so it detects my soundcard but only if i reset
  it manually. (see related question)
