Title:
  xubuntu 13.10 buzzing sound

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
detected a buzzing sound on my pc machine no idea how this happened. a
temporary solution is menu > mulitimedia > pulseaudio volume control >
playback -- dragging the control back and forth until it reaches back
to zero and the buzzing sound is gone. alsa force-reload no effect.
any ideas how to get rid of this permanently? speaker system is
  working 100%.
