[Compaq nx6325, AD1981] Sound gets muted

Bug description:
The sound icon is not showing that the sound is muted but the mute button is
on. I have to pres the mute button twice to enable the sound again however
after a few seconds the mute button switches back on (?!) (and this repeats
over and over).
It might be pulse related bug. Not sure.
