Bug description:
Using Lucid can not now record from mic or line. Update alsa to 1.0.23 per
http://monespaceperso.org/blog-en/2010/05/02/upgrade-alsa-1-0-23-on-ubuntu-lucid-lynx-10-04/
was not helpful.
If volume is turned way up, can hear scratchy, distant, low recording
in Sound Recorder,which does not have slider move during recording.
All of these, including Audacity worked fine in Hardy 8.04. Installed
Kubuntu 10.04 but it was no better.
This is a 2.93 MHZ Gateway PC is dual boot on separate HDD with win32
where everything works fine: recording mic and line.
