Title:
Sound skips; fasts forward when playing music

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Running Ubuntu v12.04 on Acer Aspire One AO751h. Sound constantly
skips as I play music; skips so badly I can't even hear the
introduction sound after logging into my account. The sound works
whole in previous versions of Ubuntu, so perhaps this is a bug that
was introduced in 12.04. Using AlsaMixer v1.0.25
