Public bug reported:

Hi, my dell laptop inspiron 15 5590 not working properly, internal mic
is not listed in inputs and headset mic neither. I tested headset mic on
other devices and it works fine. Also when I plug headset in in/out
jack, ubuntu doesn't ask for connection type (headset, headset mic, mic)
it use it only as simple headset.

I tried some configuration in alsa and HDAJackRetask but none works.
Same for kernels, 4.15.x, 5.0.x (oem), 5.3.x none works.

I didn't test mics under windows because I can't for the moment.

If you need details, I'll be glad to copy/paste your commands in
terminal.

Infos:
Ubuntu 19.10
kernel: 5.3.0-29-generic
