It has been reported some time ago already, e.g. as Bug 84 or 742 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues/84 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues/742
There are even related PRs, but nobody at pulseaudio seems to really care about them, e.g. https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/merge_requests/94 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/merge_requests/288 (WIP though and following a new, rather unaligned approach) ** Bug watch added: gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues #84 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues/84 ** Bug watch added: gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues #742 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues/742 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to pulseaudio in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1576559 Title: Refused to switch profile to headset_head_unit: Not connected Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I'm trying to connect a bluetooth-speaker-with-microphone (Mi Bluetooth Speaker) to Ubuntu.
