Title:
[SVS1513M1EW, Realtek ALC275, Speaker, Internal] Very low volume
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Laptop model: Sony VAIO SVS1513M1EW
Soundcard model: Realtek ALC275
Ubuntu version: 13.04
libasound2 version: 1.0.25-4ubuntu3.1
pulseaudio version: 1:3.0-0ubuntu6
Problem: Volume is very low (even inaudible on the speakers, and very
low on headphones). The volume in Windows 8 is OK (this is a dual-boot
system).
What I've tried so far:
- Playing with the levels in pulseaudio
- Turning up all the channels in alsamixer
-Installing puvacontrol and playing with the settings there
- Update the driver through https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/UpgradingAlsa/DKMS
