Creative CA0110-IBG problem - which exists in this ticket:

I have the same problem. The sound exists, but stutters and it's
impossible to get it to play correctly unless Ubuntu-bug is run.
I've been investigating ways to fix it - which is why my alsa-
base.conf file is edited. (it didn't fix it- via
