Title:
[Studio Hybrid 140g, Realtek ALC888, Black Digital Out, HDMI] No sound
  at all

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
This problem seems the same as #793592. I have cross-referenced this
bug to that one as well. I have tried to use the latest build of alsa
and also I downloaded and installed realtek codec/alsa version from
another forum recommendation - still no sound via HDMI no matter which
  version of Alsa I use.
