Title:
Updates periodically reselect wrong audio output device
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I have sound output devices listed in sound preferences: Internal
Audio Analog and HD48x0 audio Digital. The one I use is the former,
but updates often switch it back to the latter.
This results in either sound not working at all or more often just the
global volume controls not working. Since I seldom change volume using
software, I haven't yet been able to determine which package I may may
upgrade when this happens.
