Title:
[USB-Audio - Creative USB Headset, playback] fails after a while /
causes system instability
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
My Creative USB Headset works intermittently, but even when it does,
it causes strange system response issues (eg maximise/close/window
moves do not function, programs become totally unresponsive). This
started happening when I did a fresh install of 11.10, and is not a
hardware fault, as I have reverted back to 11.04 where it works fine.
This issue appears after a fresh install with no conflicting software,
and also happened when I was using a Microsoft LiveChat 3000 Headset
previously, so seems to be an issue with Alsa or Pulse?
