HP NC4200: internal speaker is not muted when headphones are connected

Ubuntu 10.10 i386
Sounds at notebook HP NC4200 works. I have an issue with internal
speaker. When I connect headphones I expect that internal speaker will
be muted. But it is not and I hear sounds from headphones and from
internal speaker. WinXP works as expected.
I think this bug is a duplicate to #485705. I was asked to create new
bug report by apport.
