Bug description:
Installed Ubuntu and found this problem.

  Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
  Release: 12.04

When I run the sound test, I hear a short burst of sound from the left
speaker (I am using a 2 speak L-R system). Similar behavior when I try
  to play any music file.

  Other than this, no sound.
