Title:
  Installed Kali on xubuntu and login menu disappeard then these errors

Status in gconf package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I am new to Xubuntu/Ubuntu, running Xubuntu on a Macbook Pro 2009 15"

  Installed Kali linux on Xubuntu, and running into these errors. 
   Login script keeps looping, so tried this
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade 
  sudo -apt-get install fglrx 

  because someone suggested it's due to Nvidia issue, didn't fix the
  issue
