This happens to me as well (Nexus4, dual boot from dev channel). To work around this, I have to execute the following commands:
/usr/share/urfkill/scripts/flight-mode 1 # turn on flight mode /usr/share/urfkill/scripts/flight-mode 0 # turn off flight mode After this, the phone may no longer say "No SIM detected", but the mobile carrier may be still listed as "Unknown". To fix this, I further exec the next command: /usr/share/ofono/scripts/enter-pin pin xxxx Where xxxx is my SIM's pin and now I can connect to my carrier. To enable SIM card, I have to Toggle the Aeroplane mode to get the SIM card working. There are certain times when this fails and I have to go to /usr/share/urfkill and set flight-mode to 0, then 1 and then back to 0 to get the SIM card working. I am using Nexus 5 with Multirom Manager for dual booting To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-touch-meta/+bug/1371332/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
