Trying to install a Canon MX530 on Ubuntu. None of the standard
interfaces work - they seem to register (IPP and LPD), but the printer
does not react to test pages or a simple text file.
Why is it so complicated on Ubuntu? Windows recognised the printer with
almost no input from me.
