But with the current PA, after reboot and suspend/resume, the hdmi can't change to be active output automatically anymore. [Fix] Backport an upstream fix, this will fix the issue of "preferred ports being cleaned by a mistake" [Test] On a machine with legacy HDA audio driver, install the patched pulseaudio, then run 'rm ~/.config/pulse/*; reboot', plug a hdmi monitor, select the hdmi audio to be active, with the hdmi monitor plugged and reboot, suspend and resume, check what is the active output, it is still the hdmi audio. [Where problems could occur] This patch is in the card-restore.c, if it could introduce regression, it will be on the default active input/output devices, for example, users select a input or output device to be active, after reboot, if those devices are available, they should be active, but they could be replaced by other devices if a regression is introduced. But this possibility is very low since we tested the patch on a couple of desktop and laptop machines.
