All the initramfs-tools autopkgtest tests seem to run fine on a recent kernel (5.19) with the debdiff in attach applied.

It seems that we are creating a VM with 1GB only to run the amd64-ata- only test and even just 512MB for the net test. It probably makes sense to create larger VMs (at least 2GB) to run these tests with a more recent kernels (that will likely require a little more RAM). [Test case] sudo autopkgtest . -- null [Fix] Increase memory size of instances used to run the autopkgtests to 2GB. [Regression potential] We may experience regressions in small cloud instances, or systems with less than 2GB or RAM that are using a recent kernel (but this is more a generic potential regression, not strictly related to initramfs-tools).
