Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) reached end-of-life on April 28, 2017. I'm setting the status of this bug to 'Incomplete' as it's not seen any activity for some time. If this is still an issue while using a currently maintained release of Ubuntu then please let us know which one(s) otherwise this bug report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time. ** Changed in: vim (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to vim in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/938469 Title: vim cannot regain control of mouse Status in vim package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: In Precise, vim is unable to reassert control of the mouse once it has started. The mouse works normally upon starting vim. If it loses control of the mouse in the pseudo-terminal, however, perhaps due to being suspended with ^Z, or turning the mouse off with ':set mouse=', then vim becomes unable to regain control of the mouse when it should, such as being resumed or ':set mouse=a'. The expected behavior is that suspending should have no effect on the mouse within vim, and clearing and resetting the mouse variable should also have no effect on the mouse.
