Title: On the fake application autopilot fixture, raise an exception if the desktop file is missing required fields Status in “ubuntu-ui-toolkit” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: On this branch we are adding a fixture to create a fake application: https://code.launchpad.net/~elopio/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/fake_app_fixture/+merge/205916 When we create a desktop file, it's a common mistake to miss one of the required fields. And because of bug #1204595, the shell just fails silently to launch the application.
