Should this be tracking https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/6558 ? That is indeed fixed in GTK 4.15.0 and 4.14.6, so yes that's in Oracular.
EDIT: That's GTK4, not GTK3. Maybe not relevant. ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues #6558 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/6558 ** Also affects: gtk4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gtk Status: New => Unknown ** Changed in: gtk Remote watch: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues #6751 => gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues #6558 ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: Triaged => Invalid ** Changed in: gtk4 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Invalid ** Tags added: fixed-in-gtk-4.14.6 fixed-upstream ** Tags added: desktop-needs-sru ** Also affects: mutter (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gtk4 (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mutter (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gtk4 (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mutter (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: Medium Status: Invalid ** Also affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: Medium Status: Invalid ** Also affects: gtk4 (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Released ** Changed in: gtk4 (Ubuntu Oracular) Status: New => Fix Released ** Changed in: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu Noble) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu Oracular) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu Noble) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu Oracular) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: gtk4 (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: gtk4 (Ubuntu Noble) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: gtk4 (Ubuntu Noble) Milestone: None => noble-updates -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to gtk+3.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2064177 Title: Window borders and shadows missing from GTK3 dialogs (if autologin is enabled and Xorg is used) Status in GTK+: Unknown Status in gtk+3.0 package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in gtk4 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in mutter package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in gtk+3.0 source package in Noble: Invalid Status in gtk4 source package in Noble: Triaged Status in mutter source package in Noble: Invalid Status in gtk+3.0 source package in Oracular: Invalid Status in gtk4 source package in Oracular: Fix Released Status in mutter source package in Oracular: Invalid Status in gtk+3.0 source package in Plucky: Invalid Status in gtk4 source package in Plucky: Fix Released Status in mutter source package in Plucky: Invalid Bug description: I have a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 instalation and some of the windows have a few problems. Some are probably caused by theming, as the windows' borders (or their color) makes them impossible to discern from the background windows. Just earlier I discovered another bug, related to detecting the click and window I clicked. I am trying to see the sub-content of a software update but the system reacts as I clicked the window below. In the recording you can see this happening both with the Terminal and with Firefox. I have plenty of screenshots and also a screen recording that show the bugs.
