I reviewed the linux-base debdiff: * Since linux-base is a native package, it is better to have the individual changes as separate commits in git-ubuntu * Debian has already linux-base 4.10.1 * The apport change in 4.10ubuntu2 can be merged in 4.10ubuntu1 since that version wasn't uploaded to the archive * The fix-up changes to the Ubuntu delta can be merged together (e.g. all linux-base-sgx changes in one entry) * You dropped the Breaks & Replaces of linux-base that Debian shipped. Was that intentional?
I applied those suggestions in a git-ubuntu branch: https://code.launchpad.net/~bdrung/ubuntu/+source/linux-base/+git/linux-base/+ref/ubuntu/devel Can you have a look if I should upload this or if you want to have it differently? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to apport in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2018128 Title: Apport does not collect all logs when the package is HWE kernel (or any derivative) Status in apport package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in linux-base package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: [ Impact ] Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with kernel 5.19.0-41-generic When filing bugs against the package 'linux' apport collects all the logs needed to the kernel But in case the user is not on stock kernel anymore and has the HWE kernel apport only imports 2 logs Dependencies.txt + ProcCpuInfoMinimal.txt and forwards the package 'linux' towards linux-signed-hwe-5.19 (in my case) would it be possible to make apport collect all the logs needed in all kernel cases? [ Where Problems Could Occur ] The fix adds additional source package hooks and removes some stale ones. Potential issue are log collection/upload problems.
