Title:
  wait-for-root[899] segfault when booting xen-kernels

Status in initramfs-tools package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

  Release 10.04 LTS

  When I booting xen-kernel
  kernel                /boot/xen-3.3.gz
  module                /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-23-xen
root=UUID=2a6c0f23-3d29-4204-a41f-59ea3a6b4f1d ro console=tty0
  module                /boot/initrd.img-2.6.24-23-xen

  wait-for-root crashes and system fall down to busybox.

  Non-xen kernels are booting ok.
  e.g.:
  kernel        /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-25-generic-pae
root=UUID=2a6c0f23-3d29-4204-a41f-59ea3a6b4f1d ro quiet splash
  initrd                /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-25-generic-pae

  Ubuntu release: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
  initramfs-tools version: 0.92bubuntu78

  All other packages are updated to actual versions.
