Ubuntu 12.10 reached end-of-life so it's no longer supported. Can you
still reproduce this bug on 14.04 (or laters)?

Bug description:
As of the latest upgrade which included kernel 3.5.0-23, unity fails
to start presumably due to unavailability of GLX extension.
When I boot into previous kernel 3.5.0-22, everything works as
expected.
