whoopsie, by default generates the ID used to identify the machine.
and so does whoopsie-preferences.
However one can override the ID of whoopsie, by setting an environment variable 
(e.g. the way it's done for the emulators).
However, this makes whoopsie-preferences display and expose wrong ID, as it 
does not / cannot query the environment of the whoopsie process.

Bug description:
  whoopsie is running with CRASH_DB_IDENTIFIER set in the environment.
  whoopsie-preferences is ignorant of that, and calculates a fresh instead.
