i dunno, i'm not convinced this is a bug. the selection is "adjust brightness automatically" - which i would think means, i'm giving up control to the machine. For instance, is i have "auto" turned off....and i turn the slider down to "lowest", and then check "auto" on, and it chooses "maximum"....if i slide up it can't change...i mean, it ends up throwing the whole scale off. I could buy that you might want to "grey out" or fix the slider if you have the "auto brightness" selected to on. agree/disagree? maybe we should assign to design.
