Unable to log in with lightdm
This is a bug report against an up-to-date version of (k)ubuntu
14.10/utopic. The issue seems to have been triggered by ubuntu updates
between 23.12.2014 and 07.01.2015 (today).
I'm unable to log in with lightdm. No matter what user, and I also tried
guest. However I'm able to log on a (non-graphical) console/vt (i.e.
without X).
I found the following in /var/log/lightdm/x-0-greeter.log:

Hence the bug maybe releated to some ibus, dbus, systemd and/or upstart
problem. But I don't care. This is the most severe problem for me in
Ubuntu for nearly 10 years.
