The left-edge behavior has another issue, but it turns out not to be related to this fix.
Swiping from the left edge will cause the current scope to be switched to "Today" as soon as the first commit point is reached, even if the user only swiped far enough to bring up the quick launcher. This action isn't reversible; swiping back the other way does not return it to the scope they were using. It makes much more sense to me to only switch back to the default scope if the user explicitly presses the Ubuntu icon in the launcher. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1403464 Title: Left-edge / home does not close Manage Dash Status in the base for Ubuntu mobile products: Confirmed Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu RTM: In Progress Bug description: The Manage Dash should be closed on Left-edge / home press To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1403464/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
