Printing to the Samsung M262x 282x Foomatic/lj5gray driver works correctly. Printing the same document from xpdf works correctly. However saving the pdf produced by evince and then printing that with xpdf also fails. I suspect that the issue is a ghostscript issue but the recommendation was to report printing problems as a cups issue first. Attached is a document saved by evince that when sent directly to the driver reproduces the problem. When printed the Invoice address, the delivery address and all pricing information is hidden. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS Release: 14.04 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: cups 1.7.2-0ubuntu1.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-43.72-generic 3.13.11.11 Uname: Linux 3.13.0-43-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.6 Architecture: amd64 CupsErrorLog: W [27/Jan/2015:10:49:08 +0000] CreateProfile failed: org.freedesktop.ColorManager.AlreadyExists:profile id 'Samsung-M283x-Series-Gray..' already exists CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Tue Jan 27 11:07:11 2015 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-02-05 (720 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Release amd64 (20121017.5) MachineType: FUJITSU LIFEBOOK AH532 Papersize: a4 PpdFiles: Samsung-M283x-Series: Samsung M262x 282x Series PXL ProcKernelCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.13.0-43-generic root=UUID=31a844cb-7d53-421f-aabb-7868d27f3dee ro quiet splash vt.handoff=7 SourcePackage: cups UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to trusty on 2014-04-28 (273 days ago) dmi.bios.date: 10/25/2012 dmi.bios.vendor: FUJITSU // Phoenix Technologies Ltd. dmi.bios.version: Version 2.08 dmi.board.name: FJNBB2A dmi.board.vendor: FUJITSU dmi.chassis.type: 10 dmi.chassis.vendor: FUJITSU dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnFUJITSU//PhoenixTechnologiesLtd.:bvrVersion2.08:bd10/25/2012:svnFUJITSU:pnLIFEBOOKAH532:pvr:rvnFUJITSU:rnFJNBB2A:rvr:cvnFUJITSU:ct10:cvr: dmi.product.name: LIFEBOOK AH532 dmi.sys.vendor: FUJITSU mtime.conffile..etc.cups.cupsd.conf: 2013-11-26T09:57:43.621788 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1415009/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
