Hi, I reinstalled evince using apt-get install --reinstall evince-common and got the following error: AppArmor parser error for /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince in /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince at line 14: Could not open 'abstractions/evince'
I ran debsums -sa and got the following output : debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld-akonadi (from akonadi-backend-mysql package) debsums: missing file /usr/share/app-install/desktop/steam:steam.desktop (from app-install-data package) debsums: missing file /usr/share/app-install/icons/steam.png (from app-install-data package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.cups-browsed (from cups-browsed package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.cupsd (from cups-daemon package) debsums: changed file /usr/share/icons/elementary/.icon-theme.cache (from elementary-icon-theme package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/evince (from evince-common package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox (from firefox package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/sbin.dhclient (from isc-dhcp-client package) debsums: changed file /etc/security/limits.d/audio.conf (from jackd2 package) debsums: changed file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kxstudio-debian.list (from kxstudio-repos package) debsums: missing file /usr/share/locale-langpack/en_CA/LC_MESSAGES/cinder.mo (from language-pack-en-base package) debsums: changed file /etc/security/limits.conf (from libpam-modules:amd64 package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/lightdm-guest-session (from lightdm package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/lightdm (from lightdm package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/lightdm_chromium-browser (from lightdm package) debsums: changed file /usr/share/applications/popcorn-time.desktop (from popcorn-time package) debsums: changed file /etc/psd.conf (from profile-sync-daemon package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.rsyslogd (from rsyslog package) debsums: changed file /etc/default/rtirq (from rtirq-init package) debsums: missing file /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.tcpdump (from tcpdump package) debsums: changed file /etc/default/ufw (from ufw package) debsums: changed file /var/lib/xine/xine.desktop (from xine-ui package) I've just installed the dailybuild vivid ubuntu studio on another machine and there are only a few complaints from debsums including a the xine-ui package and some py-cups.d ones. The above report is from the affected machine and I note that there are a lot of apparmor issues, some with the lightdm package. I am running the experimental x drivers from the oibaf ppa of launchpad, so perhaps this has affected it, but I don't see why it should have done. I am most likely going to reinstall to the latest daily build on this machine as well. Many thanks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to apparmor in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1444356 Title: apparmor fails to initialise at startup Status in apparmor package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: apparmor is failing to intitialise and start.
