Trying to save settings results in: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.SettingsDaemon was not provided by any .service files Installing unity-settings-daemon solves the problem, but this package is not a dependancy of ubunutu-destop (or maybe another more fine- grained package).
