I think I saw that too just after you reported the issue, but it seems that flickr has been fixing it on their end, because I can’t reproduce any longer (I wiped the cookie DB just to ensure that no previous state was being used).
I’m marking the bug invalid, feel free to re-open if you can reproduce now or in the future. In general for this kind of issue, the best approach is to convince websites to "support" our browser OOTB. Failing that, and for really important use cases, we have a UA override mechanism which we can use to send a different UA string for a given domain. ** Changed in: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: canonical-devices-system-image Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to webbrowser-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1447246 Title: Flickr warns about an unsupported browser Status in the base for Ubuntu mobile products: Invalid Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: I don't know exactly where to file this. But here goes: - Go to the Nearby scope - Click on a Flickr image - Click "View on Flickr" - The browser opens on Flickr with a page that says: "Grass could be greener on this side" and "You seem to be using an unsupported browser. To get the most out of Flickr please upgrade to the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Internet Explorer." There's a tiny white button that says "No thanks, take me to the site anyway" But users shouldn't see this page if possible. I realize this is best solved on the Flickr side. Is there anything we can do in the meantime?
