I just flashed my mako from devel-proposed, version 208. After booting, I can't enter a passcode or passphrase. When I try, I get "Could not set security mode" on the "Switch to passcode" dialog.
Is there any work-around? I'm desperately trying to test stuff on the phone but, with a passcode, I can't connect to the device. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1394712 Title: [wizard] password set as passphrase even though it was set as 4-digit passcode during wizard Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I just reflashed using the mtk tool, ran through the wizard and got this same symptom. v178 vivid arale unity8.log contained QProcess: Destroyed while process ("/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/ubuntu-system-settings/private/Ubuntu/SystemSettings/SecurityP rivacy/UbuntuSecurityPrivacyHelper") is still running. qml: Error setting security method: Could not set security mode === Original description below === current build number: 27 device name: mako channel: ubuntu-touch/vivid-proposed last update: 2014-11-20 18:31:21 version version: 27 version ubuntu: 20141120 version device: 20141119 version custom: 20141120 Flashed with 'ubuntu-device-flash --channel=ubuntu-touch/vivid- proposed --bootstrap', and selected 4-digit passcode during wizard, but after locking the screen I noticed it was asking for a passphrase instead.
