I’m not sure what you mean? I’m visiting e.g. http://pad.lv/1, just
after validating the URL the address bar displays "pad.lv" (it shortens
the URL to the domain name only), then a redirect to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1 happens, and the address bar
correctly displays "bugs.launchpad.net". So it appears that the URL is
updated in the address bar upon redirect.
Can you detail the steps to reproduce the issue, what you expect to see,
and what happens instead?
