Public bug reported:

The browser has a mechanism to simplify the URL in the address bar when it
looses focus (it displays only the domain name, which makes it much more
readable on small form factors such as phones).
When focusing the address bar to input some text, it used to display the full
URL, but a recent regression broke that.

Steps to reproduce:

 1) focus the address bar, type "example.org/foo", and validate (return key on
the OSK)
 2) wait for the page to be fully loaded, then focus the address bar again

Expected result: the contents of the address bar becomes
"http://example.org/foo";.
Current result: the contents of the address bar remains "example.org".
