These numbers may be bigger than an ulong variable. When we do ps -U "numeric username" we get "user ID out of range" error. Ex: root@test:~# ps -U 56563882714 error: user ID out of range This is impacting particularly the Vagrant's usage, as this tool uses the ps's -U option extensively. Attached is a patch that is working for us. Please validate or correct it. Thanks.
