I use my bq 4.5 in Budapest, Hungary, but when I am at home it usually says I am in Miskolc (Hungary, 180 km/110 miles from Budapest).
Pretty surely it is working from ip based geolocation databases: I have had the same ip address months ago and a large part of geolocation webpages (but less than a half of them) says this ip address belongs to Miskolc. Of course it is not the mistake of Ubuntu Touch developers, but there should be an option saying: "this ip address does not belong to the said location, do not use this source/use another sources" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to location-service in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1238823 Title: Location lookup failing for Lafayette, Indiana, USA Status in location-service package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: In the weather app when I ask for a location, I consistently get Potwin, Kansas, which is over 1000 km away from my current location in Lafayette, Indiana. When I go to a mapping page in the browser and it asks for my location, it says no location could be determined. The clock app doesn't seem to look up my location correctly either, but that may be unrelated.
