Title: revert iscan hook error protection as per LP: #603053 Status in initramfs-tools package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: As per LP: #603053 the fixes to ignore iscan hook failures were meant to be temporary. Drop them. "It's pretty horrible, but I suppose I can ignore errors from just that initramfs hook. This will have to be reverted at some point, but hopefully by then most of the affected systems will have been upgraded to a decent working version of iscan."
