Peter, there is no need to change the supply on the Touch. I have
measured both the analogue and digital outputs (via a DAC) and there is
no measurable difference at all with either between the stock PSU and a
very expensive medical grade 5A Linear supply.

The only reason for changing the supply would be if you had an AM radio
(?) nearby, as some of them can be susceptible to the RF. However, all
other equipment should have adequate AM rejection.

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...
SB Touch Beta (wired) - TACT 2.2X (Linear PSU) + Good Vibrations S/W -
MF Triplethreat(Audiocom full mods) - Linn 5103 - Aktiv 5.1 system (6x
LK140's, ESPEK/TRIKAN/KATAN/SEIZMIK 10.5), Townsend Supertweeters, Blue
Jeans Digital,Kimber Speaker & Chord Interconnect cables
Kitchen Boom, Outdoors: SB Radio
