I have mine sitting on my desk at the moment, but I sometimes do the

Settings > Advanced > Diagnostics.  Hardware version 5 is the
production rev, I believe.

This is true.  The ideal viewing angle is bit above 90 degrees. 
Probably about 110 degrees.  So there's a bit of a conflict in the
design when it comes to touch vs. remote usage.
