+1 on the troll scale > There can't be any fire because there is no heat much less smoke. I have not tried every single function, I do have a life. But claims that the Touch will never work is pure troll-food. Mine has worked well for several months. > And lastly, what is this crap about putting up any cash? I fairly > positive Logitech hasn't charged anybody's CC? If one is dealing with > Logitech or Amazon, it is completely safe to pre-order. The technical term is that when you place an order, the seller can place a "auth" for the amount. This does not transfer money, but it does reduce the credit card owner's credit available amount by the amount of the "auth". When the product ships, then the seller can do a "capture" of the sale, which does transfer money from the customer's bank to the vendor's bank. Even then, no money is really moved from any account. But understanding how credit card processing is done is no help to the hype of the trolls. -- Pat Farrell http://www.pfarrell.com/ _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
