4. Yes, Touch can be a controller for other players as well as the server for those players. Touch needs to be ON (standby) for the other players to see it. If Touch is plugged in it is ON, it's only true OFF state is unplugged. Basic player settings for the players being controlled by Touch are available. 5. Bandwidth: That is a limitation of your network throughput and/or WiFi signal strength and integrity. I can stream full WAV files to four synced players (three are WiFi, one is wired) without even a hiccup.
