- VolumeLock only works with the full version Squeezebox Server (not
MySqueezebox.com and not, at least not without some hassle,

one of my SB3s, I have a plugin that translates the fictional 1-100
SB3 volume into precise -80 to 0 dB gain volumes (and a modified
version of MusicInfoScr so my SB3 displays the amp gain in dB when I
adjust the volume) -- that wouldn't be possible if I merely used
VolumeLock to peg the volume at 100%.
Absolutely I'd suggest VolumeLock for any new Touch owners who want
fixed 100% output, but only as a short-term kludge.
