Hmm, a 24/192 needs to be downsampled in the server, what format is then sent to the Touch? Does it send PCM to the touch or does it send FLAC, and if FLAC what encoding does it use? If its using PCM or low level compression FLAC to send the downsampled stream to the Touch I don't think the compression used on the 24/192 file makes any difference. I've run a 24/96 FLAC -5 on my system many times and have never had any problem going from the server, but it DOES do the stuttering when coming from TinySBS. I've never had the stuttering when coming from an external server no matter what the file or stream format is.
