Have you tried anything ripped in Apple Lossless by other software other than iTunes? My Touch just shipped, so it will take me a few days before I can see for myself. I just spent months ripping over 20,000 songs as doing metadata editing is much easier on those files than FLAC on a Mac. I am not even finished yet. I'll be pretty upset if they don't work.
